That show is definitely one of the worst to exaggerate the issues.


I've seen some where they make big deals out of replacing brake hard lines or something, like it's something that's never done by regular shops. I'm 100% sure their guys know, and do many of those jobs on a daily basis, but exaggerate them for the camera.

But it beats some of the shows that have a goofball working for them who only screws around on the show every week. I stopped watching that Mopar show based in Oregon for that specific reason. I love the work they do, but couldn't take that screw-off more than one season. Why pay that shop to do a full restoration if you have to also pay some screw-off for doing nothingor worse than nothing if he decreases the efficiencies of the guys doing the work.

The show in Utah does great work too, and they have a pretty bad screw-off too. I think they let the cat out of the bag on one show where they actually showed him doing some work...lol
